Reverend Apostoli, a member of the community of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, has been active in teaching, speaking at retreats and parish missions, and giving spiritual direction. He is well-known as an author of several books and is filming a new series for EWTN TV.

Father Miara is a priest of the Archdiocese of New York. He was ordained in 2001 by Cardinal Egan at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York City. He spent three years at St.Teresa of the Infant Jesus Parish on Staten Island and is currently the Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in the Bronx. He is presently Spiritual Director for the World Apostolate of Fatima, New York Division.

Most Reverend Paul Gregory Bootkoski was named Bishop of the Diocese of Metuchen by Pope John Paul II on January 4, 2002. Bishop Bootkoski is also the Episcopal Advisor to the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA. At the first Worldwide Fatima Sanctity of Life Day, he dedicated the powerfully moving sanctity of life statue, Mary, Mother of the Life Within, on the grounds of the Shrine in Washington, NJ.

Bishop Edward Hughes will not be able to join us as previously scheduled, but we are very happy to have Reverend Paul Ruge, Shrine Chaplain, as the main Celebrant and Homilist for the August 13th celebration. Father Paul Ruge was appointed the new Chaplain of the World Apostolate of Fatima Shrine on November 1, 2008. Previously, Father Paul served on the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA board of Trustees, and was the Vice President of the Blue Army for the Saginaw, MI Division. He has been active in the Blue Army for the past 55 years and first signed the Blue Army Pledge in 1953.

Father Matt was ordained in 1988. He attended Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell, CT, as a belated vocation. He served as Chaplain of the Catholic University in the Diocese of Ponce, Puerto Rico. In 2005, Fr. Matt earned his Licentiate Degree (S.T.L.) in the Theology of Mary at the International Marian Research Institute (S.T.L.), located at the University of Dayton, a branch of the Pontifical Marianum University in Rome, Italy. He is Pastor of St. Roch’s Church in Greenwich, CT.
Reverend Clement Machado was born in British Columbia, Canada. He is involved with Vatican Radio and has presented a series of television programs on EWTN based on St. Pio of Pietrelcina and Purgatory.
Father promotes healing of the whole person, body, mind, heart and soul through intercessory prayer and the ministry of Sacramentals, the Sacraments and particularly the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Confession where he exercises diligently the spiritual discernment of souls. He is a powerful and spiritually dynamic preacher. He is currently based in Rome, Italy.

Bishop DiMarzio was named to lead the Brooklyn Diocese Aug. 1, 2003, after four years as the Bishop of the Diocese of Camden, Bishop DiMarzio was installed in his new See at a ceremony and Mass both solemn and joyous at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Basilica in Brooklyn Oct. 3, 2003.
