National Pilgrim Virgin Statue Tours

National Pilgrim Virgin Statue

2010 - 2011 Tour Schedule

The National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of the USA is a lovely hand-carved Image of Our Lady of Fatima given to our country by the Bishop of Fatima in 1967 and crowned by Cardinal O'Boyle in the National Basilica in Washington, DC in 1971. The Statue was blessed by Pope Paul VI during his visit to Fatima in 1967.

The Statue travels around America under the sponsorship of the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA, spreading the important Message of Fatima. With the permission of the local bishop, a visit of the Statue can be scheduled for a diocese by obtaining a minimum of 11 parishes willing to host the Statue. There is no cost to the parish, expenses being covered by donations. The pastor only needs to appoint 2 coordinators to organize the visit.
